- Important note when using AI: When more than 50 notifications per month are received on a regular basis (150 per month for 24/7 surveillance), WePrevent reserves the right – in consultation with you – to switch to live surveillance at the stated rates above.

Who views my images?
Your images are viewed by our screened and trained operators in the watch centre.

What about my privacy?
You remain completely anonymous to our operators, because they keep an eye on everything without knowing who you are or where you live. This is because only the national PAC (Private Alarm Centre) has the legal permission to access this information. In this way, your privacy is always guaranteed.

Will my images be saved?
No. Your images are not stored by us. We only keep the images of actual incidents. According to EN (European Norm) standards, we are obliged to make a report of every incident and keep this for seven years.

How do you intervene in the event of an incident?
We can alert intruders directly using a siren or address them live via loudspeakers. If the situation calls for it, we will alert the local PAC via a secure connection within 10 milliseconds. The PAC will then quickly call the police. We can also let the police watch our live view. This is a reliable and proven method that we have been using for years.

Is the internet connection secure?
Yes. Every connection is secured via a VPN, which stands for Virtual Private Network. Your signal is sent via this network to our watch centre. The online connection we use for this is fully encrypted and therefore very secure. In addition, special software is used to continuously monitor whether the connection is functioning properly. This happens automatically every 90 seconds and is called ‘polling’.

Is my data safe with WePrevent?
Yes. We comply with the ISO 27001 standard for information security.

What is the difference between live and AI (Artificial Intelligence)?
If you opt for live surveillance, your camera images will be continuously viewed live by one of our operators at the times you choose. The operator will respond to any suspicious situation. If you opt for AI surveillance, your camera images will be viewed live when the smart software gives a notification. Usually this is when the camera detects movement.

Does WePrevent also supply the cameras?
No. We provide the live monitoring, but of course we would be happy to put you in touch with a BORG-certified installer in your region.

Does WePrevent work on any camera system?
In principle, we can use all common camera systems for live surveillance. However, to use our Artificial Intelligence surveillance, you will need cameras with smart software that can recognise objects and detect movement.
