PREVENTION IS THE BETTER OPTION
Retail locations are always busy places, with shoppers during the day and at the weekend, or in the evening and at night with night-life crowds, loiterers or other unwanted guests. This increases the risk of vandalism and burglary. Live camera surveillance from WePrevent can prevent this. In our watch centre, we can see everything and we can intervene immediately, either by turning on the siren, addressing people directly through loudspeakers or by alerting on-site security or the police.

But we can do a lot more with the cameras. For example, we can check whether everything is clean, whether the waste bins have been emptied, or whether the landscaping is in good condition. We can also keep a log of whether the cleaners and maintenance people are actually doing what they are supposed to do.

This is especially effective if you combine live camera surveillance with on-site security guards. Using a headset, we can inform the security guards of anything suspicious so they can, for example, immediately go to the incident on their electric scooter and intervene. You save on the overall costs, because you need fewer physical security guards, who are assisted much more effectively thanks to the live camera surveillance. With a traditional alarm system, 80% of reports turn out to be false alarms. Since our operators quickly and carefully validate every incident, we don’t have any false alarms.
